Daniel Malina is a member of the BNW Health board of directors. He brings over twenty-five years of corporate strategy and deal experience to the firm. Prior to joining BNW Health, Mr. Malina was a senior vice president of Corporate Development at General Mills (“GMI”) where he led the development of the Company’s strategy, acquisitions, and a venture fund. During his twelve years with GMI, Mr. Malina was responsible for creating and executing the strategy that aligned business units with the Company’s vision. He also led numerous acquisition and divestiture activities across the globe, including the acquisition of The Pillsbury Company, the largest deal in General Mills’ history. Before joining GMI, Mr. Malina was vice president of Corporate Development at RR Donnelley and held multiple corporate and operating roles at Bell & Howell and United States Gypsum Company. Mr. Malina is currently a director of Captek, Russky Products (a Russian Food Company) and Amira Natural Foods in India (NYSE listing ANFI). He also serves on the Chicago Advisory Board of L.E.K. Mr. Malina serves as a board member of the University of Minnesota School of Technology and Leadership. Mr. Malina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and an M.B.A. from Loyola University of Chicago.
